Privacy

The short version

This website has one form on it. If you fill it in, we keep what you typed so we can email you about B♭ Studio. We do not sell it, share it, or send you anything else. Ask and we will delete it.

What we collect

Only what the early access form submits:

• Your email address — required, because it is the point.
• Your studio name, rough student count, what lines of business you run, and any note you write — all optional.
• The country your request came from, and where you arrived from, if a referring site was sent. Both are used to understand who is interested, and neither identifies you.
• The date and time you submitted it.

We do not store your IP address, and there is no account, no password and no profile.

Cookies

None. This site sets no cookies and uses no cookie-based analytics, which is why there is no consent banner in your way. If we ever add analytics it will be a privacy-preserving one that does not track people between sites, and this page will say so before it happens.

Where it is stored

In a Cloudflare D1 database belonging to B♭ Studio. It is not connected to the B♭ Studio application, and it is not shared with any studio using the software.

How long we keep it

Until B♭ Studio becomes generally available and we have written to you about it, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the product never ships, the list is deleted.

Who else sees it

Cloudflare, as the company hosting this site and the database. If we later turn on email notifications for new signups, the email provider will process your address to deliver that notification, and this page will name them.

Nobody else. We do not sell or rent the list, and there are no advertising partners.

Your rights

Email [email protected] and ask for a copy of what we hold about you, a correction, or deletion. We will do it within 30 days and we will not ask you why. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

The application itself

This policy covers bflatstudio.com, the marketing site. It does not cover the B♭ Studio application at app.bflatstudio.com — each studio running an install is the controller of its own families’ data, under its own agreement with them.

Changes

If this changes materially and we hold your address, we will tell you rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
